outboard 100:1 - !!!!

I do. It's a Tohatsu of indeterminate age and I'm not even sure what the recommended ratio is, but 50:1 is respectful of an old lady.
I seem to remember Vic posting about a manufacturer who changed the recommended ratio to 100:1 and then changed back again.

Me!

The plugs oil up a bit more if you're pottering around, but I prefer the idea of a more oil in the mix for planing duties - 5hp(!) so has to work hard to propel the fender.

I don't know much about 2 stroke outboards, but my Makita 2 sroke hedgetrimmer manual indicated 20 :1. The smoke and oil dripping out of the exhaust amazed me. I phoned them up on the Monday after I bought it, they told me it wa a mistake, it should have been 50:1.

In the manual for my tohatsu 15hp it says 50:1 for running in and then 100:1 thereafter. I run it on 100:1.

Don't get too paranoid about it...I try to aim for closer to 100:1 as it's less likely to fouls the plugs and is less smokey, but anyhwere between 50:1 and 100:1 will work fine...
I'd rather enjoy the experinence than contunually be thinking about what ratio I've got in my tank:)
