Ouch: Mooring charges

James was our neighbour at SYH last year.

If that were my boat, I would not let you within 10 yards of her. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

And I mean that in the nicest possible way. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

im paying 276.00 for my 26footer at Wells Next the Sea,its on a fore and aft mooring.
That price includes all charges and as it has a wopping great slipway,i can launch my boat using my 4x4
Its a friendly place and the fish and chips are excellent /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oy , that's where I'm aiming at too /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
If it's not deep enough I'll get the shovel out /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

well t25 we can dig them out together /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif,i think that the rest are just plain envious, they have to pay loads more money for their moorings /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

have you got your boat in at Wells at the moment? im thinking of putting mine in for bank holiday weekend, ive got a 26x macgregor called Glissando

It is but they're trying to get back the costs of investing in all the pontoons and other works they've had done , which I can't blame them for but I do think they're trying to get it back a bit too fast so all they'll do is frighten off those of us that would have been longer term berth holders
