Fosdyke doesn't appeal overly because I would have to go a fair way into the Wash before I got to Boston cut , then I would still have a fair way to go before I got to open water so , being realistic , Wells Next Sea is probably the best place to start . Once I know the boat a bit better I will probably head for RNSYC at Lowestoft for a while, but reading on their forum it's not sounding as likely as I thought . Fifteen percent increase with no advance notice is a bit rich for me
SYH's increased. Think it was about £1800 last year for my 26 footer. Now its well over £2000. Would have to get out last year's bill to be absolutely certain, but it looks like a big hike in price to me. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
[If they keep this up - next year my boat will be shorter]
My dear Guapa you may not realize it but I my man, am an expert in thecourse Art of "Diminishing boat length" i fool the HM in Oostend every year, he has after many years even started to second guess the boat lenght prior to my stating the exact lenght ( often as small as 3ft O/all ) one of these times i feel he will pay me to stay /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
you might just get that past God, just watch-out mooring-up /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Well they always charge for LOA and never take into account how many moorings you're going to occupy , port and stbd just look a little different but it's going to make going forward a bit of a sod

I was beginning to think that at this rate it is cheaper to have a pemanent crew member who lives on board, sails about from place to place during the week. Does the varnishing, painting, cleaning and engine servicing and brings the boat to you for the weekends you want to sail. They could even bring it to new sailing areas for you!
