Ostend W/E

Low water Saturday 23rd is 4.58am, Sunday 24th is 5.43am - I'm right in thinking that setting off then is best to get the flood going south?

Anybody going over just for the B/H weekend (+/- a day or two either side)?

If so, is there room for a passenger?

Wifey is taking her mother away for the weekend, so I've got a pass-out for some sailing.

The alternative is staying at home and doing the garden.....

So.... lets have a bit of a tot up then for boats that will hopefully be making the UK Bank Holiday weekend in Oostende....

Morgana
Moody Sabre
Simon_
Summer Solstice
BarryT
Shmoo
SunsetGirl
Sailorman
Guapa (at the very least in spirit!)
Slow_boat

So thats a few to be going on with!

Simon_ is "Muddy Paws" and we are sorted for the Saturday afternoon but waiting to hear if Saturday morning is possible.

A plan is forming in my head Oostend BH weekend the up the coast to middleburg then back to Oostend for the festival weekend then home or not as the fancy takes us.

Wanted to do Middleburg last year but weather and time conspired against us

Don't know why it's taken me this long to ask - why is it called "@ anchor"? I don't really like anchoring. And I'm no good at it.

Don't worry it's not at anchor - safely snugged up the harbour but you will need a very long rope. I bought a 30 metre length and it was still a bit short.

Mooring comme sa - fore or aft
