Osbourne Bay No Mooring Buoys

The buoys pictured do look very similar to the one we laid on Sunday for a local sailing club as their waiting mooring, if so, the ground tackle should be substantial, as these buoys are rated at 350kgs, which means they can easily support 18 metres of inch chain, so why not use the buoys to moor off of rather than anchor, that way you won't encroach on their no go area:D

If they are only intended to mark a swimming area there is no reason for the ground tackle to be any more substantial than is necessary to keep the buoys in position.

I'd not advise mooring to them
