After a few Osborne owners met in Southampton last night, we have taken the first steps, to bring together owners of these fine craft. We are keen to learn all we can about the history of the yard and any craft they built. If you know of any owners out there that may not use the forum, please tell them about us. There is now a site on yahoo

http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/osborneownersclub/

if the club grows as we hope, we will look at a web page of our own.

Just in case anybody is interested in the Osbourne Club, there's an Osbourne "Falcon", which is very similar to the "Eagle" design, but 36' long, being rebuilt at Peter Freebody's boatyard at Hurley, near Henley. Her name is "Lady Lucy ll", and she's been at the yard since I've been there in the early 80's. Also, Littlehampton museum had a beautiful model of an Osbourne "Everyman", (ie early 30's motorsailor) when I was there some years ago, it was in their storage section in the roof void, but about 2' long, with mast etc.

regards
