Origo spirit hob canister 'lids'?

Any idea if this would be the right material to use to cap off the spirit canisters for Origo?
Seem to have lost one and am quite capable of cutting one out but right material?

I think the original Origo discs are closed cell foam, but I think neoprene should be OK.
