Optimum fail safe length for insulated SSB / HF backstay ?

Just about to attach Sta Lok insulators to the backstay.

I am wondering if 32 feet is the failsafe length allowing communications should the antenna tuner fail?

Yes, similar to what I was advised - actually 11 metres - which is what I have between the backstay isolators. Has worked superbly over the last 10 years or so, though with an ATU.
