OPACMARE 8998 passerelle

I have just refitted the OPACMARE 8998 passerelle, hydraulic unit, after replacing an oil seal and carrying out major repairs to the electric motor. Major because the second hand replacement armature, was slightly different in size than the original, anyway, enough of that.
My question is, how to bleed the system ? Is it just a case of loosening the farthest connection , with the pump running and working back ?

iirc (but it's a good 8yrs now...) I did nothing to bleed, just run the controls up/down and in/out a few times. I think that oil simply pushes air in and out back to the tank and then the other way round when you do the other action.
Not opacmare but pretty sure all work like that.
