Also have you seen the latest Belgian news item where a motor boat owner was interrogated as he didn't have a Radar Licence amongst other things.
Visiting Belgium is starting to look like more trouble than its worth.

The Radar License thing ONLY applies when you're navigating INLAND waterways.

Yes I agree however you only need to pass a lock gate into a marina or pass the rather undefined line between sea and river to find that suddenly you are now on Inland waters and subject to CEVNI regs.

A license for Radar is required in UK, ie added onto your Ship's Radio License. Is this not the same thing?
