Well, it looks like I am going after all this year :D who else is going and when?

Mrs H may be joining me by public transport, any idea what the best route from Norwich might be?
Options might be fly Norwich to Amsterdam, train to Flushing, Breskens Ferry, then tram to Ostende, or train to Dover then Zeebrugge and then tram?

Any other suggestions for her?

Well, for a start: there's no tram service from Breskens to Ostend.
Neither is there a ferry service from Dover to Zeebrugge. There is a ferry service Hull-Zeebrugge, but if memory serves that one is freight only.

I'm amazed no-one has been rude in response to that obvious straight line. Especially Sailorman...

Anyhoo, I believe some of the WAGs of chaps going on yachts leaving Foxs are heading over to the event by car/ferry. May be worth asking about in case there is a spare seat available.

You can get an all inclusive ticket from any Greater Anglia rail station to Harwich, the ferry to the Hook and a train on the Dutch railways to wherever you want to go in Holland for one price.
Used to be called the Dutchflyer
http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry-to-holland/rail-and-sail
You would then need to find a train or bus from a Dutch railway station to Ostende probably via Antwerp or Brussels.

Was planning to go but it looks like the Belgians will scupper my attempts.

Had to send my Gori prop there to have the hub bush vulcanised, apparently nobody in the Uk can do it and its a 3 week lead time :(

Also have you seen the latest Belgian news item where a motor boat owner was interrogated as he didn't have a Radar Licence amongst other things.
Visiting Belgium is starting to look like more trouble than its worth.
