Hi
I have a small ish. scratch on the Bow and six or so indents in the same area, probably an anchor and not done by me I hasten to add. My plan is to clean the area and "dig" out with a dremel if required, then use a gelcoat filler applied with a plastic scraper. My question is this. How fine a sand paper will I require to leave the least marks and will I be able to hand polish with a T'cut or similar. Or will I have to use a rotary polisher.
Thanks in advance of a reply.
Ian

Dont forget to very carefully with a fine wet/dry paper remove all traces of polish before filling the area. This will stop the filler falling out and help it to adhere properly in the area around the damage.

I didnt read all the replys to the other thread, but in my experience you should finish with G3 / farecula (not sure if thats spelt right?) keep rubbing gently and the result should look professional!
