I came across a brief reference to 'PVA release agent' without further explanation. Now, I have some threaded bolts*/machine screws to pass through hull, reinforcing and thickened epoxy - and will use these to pull/hold the reinforcing into place while the epoxy cures.

I'll then want to remove those threaded bolts, replacing with a fitting with same-size bolts.

I want to coat the *bolts with a form of release agent prior to insertion. Will PVA glue do the job - or do I need to find something else?

PVA release agent is polyvinyl alcohol

PVA glue is polyvinyl acetate

Confusing but different things as lustyd says

Thanks for the replies above.

It seems I have all 3 of the above #5, #6, #7 hiding in my polytunnel.
