Buckler ketch for starters

Bit of extra living space I'd bet. There really can't be much room down below in it's original form.Well, that's impressive.
Someone's managed to make a Buckler even uglier.
From a practical rather than aesthetic point of view, it does look reasonably well built. Probably cost more to do than the value of the boat. I wonder what the intended purpose was.

Mrs Lakesailor quite likes the Buckler.
Mrs Lakesailor quite likes the Buckler. There is one on Windermere. I am at a loss.
I like Bucklers, mainly because they make me laugh.
No, I just like them. If one ever came up for sale that was triple keeled and not a total restoration project, I'd go and take a look. However, forumite SpottyDog5 owned and sailed one, and was not overwhelmed. In fact, he then bought a motorboat.
If one has a Buckler, it's just begging for fake gunports and a brass cannon on the foredeck; I always fancied getting 2 or 3 together on a lake and having a sort of Nelsonic paintball set-up, but the elf n' safety doesn't bear thinking about.

I think you might be on to a winning idea, there, Andy.
I'll keep an eye out for you on 'Dragon's Den'.
I did ponder about the idea, but can you imagine the safety angle ? It would be easier to charge people to juggle crocodiles !
