I should think the lack of initial stability is terrifying followed by a sort of fatalistic curiousity as to whether the splayed form will stop her going over.
 
Hopefully, it's heading towards a playground, to be permanently mounted in sand or concrete, flying a pirate flag.

I can't see any mast step, so I was assuming this was a slow-speed motorboat. Hull shape not that different to some American plywood boats.

If it is meant to sail, then I guess it's basically a duck punt with a lid :)

Not sure what's so outrageous about the comment.

Both meant to say that the hull shape probably does work ok, by comparing to successful designs like sharpies and jon boats - and duck punts!

Not sure about the pram bow, but otherwise a fun and quirky design. Jaunty seems a good name.

Better than an AWB for going up a canal, for sure. Not better than an AWB for visiting the Channel Islands. Horses for courses.
