No bowsprite. That is the original design for the yankee from drawings. The photo seems to distort it slightly, foot and leech are very similar lengths. It's my normal cruising headsail, the full genny is a pain to tack short handed.

She's a stunning looking boat James.
Just took a look at your page showing some of the work done etc. Definitely my kind of yacht if I had the heart and determination with all that wood. (got my fingers burnt with a semi-wooden boat so i've been put off a little)
Anyway, a really fine classic yacht!
