Bit unfair. It could quite easily have happened through the boat being rolled in surf having gone astray in the fog.

The biggest surf is caused by ocean swell, which has nothing to do with local conditions.

And more a salutary thought.. That you can go overboard on a seemingly safe craft such as a fishing boat.

Agree, I suppose you can go overboard in any type of boat if the conditions are bad.
