Old Posts, how long before deleted?

About 12 years ago, I wrote a post about the problems I experienced with issues I had with a Yanmar 1GM10 engine.

When the forum software was upgraded a couple of years ago the format for all thread URLs changed - I assume you had kept this link in your bookmarks, @mickywillis?

The format you posted was:

http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?12345-title

Working link is format:

https://forums.ybw.com/threads/title.12345

Where "12345" is the thread ID.

I don't think the title text makes any difference - you can just use

https://forums.ybw.com/threads/xxx.312212

to get to your thread.
