Hi All,
Could anyone recommend a powerful 12v pump that I could use to suck out the old oil when doing an oil change on my TAMD63P-A engines?
It's twin engine boat with very little room in the machine space to pump manually.
Ideally I'd like a pump that will suck the oil out of the dipstick tube, but could also be used for pumping new oil back in via the oil filler as its not possible to get a funnel into the filler on top of the engine due to restricted height! (about 3" only.)
Also, I have to remove and flush the antifreeze coolant before putting fresh in. Is there a tutorial anywhere to show how this can be done? My Volvo manual has some basic steps, but not very clear. Bearing in mind, I have limited space, I'd like to drain the old coolant without spilling it into the bilge, flush through with tap water and then fill with new coolant. Never done it on this engine before so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Paulo
