Off to see the Donald Crowhurst film this weekend

Got tickets to see the The Mercy about Donald Crowhurst this weekend.

Should be a good boaty film.

Even SWMBO wants to come along to see it as well, but perhaps only because Colin Firth is in it.

Have seen it now.

Enjoyable film which tells the tragic story very well.

Lots of sailing footage, but nothing technical. He does seem to have an endless supply of electricity though seeing that he has no solar panels or wind turbines, just relying on engines.

Not much to see of Maldon. Just some footage in I think might be the boat yard next to the chandlery.

Worth watching I think.
