Hi

Anyone used Odysseus/Templecraft for a flotilla in the Ionian? I've done a search of old forum topics and there are lots of comments about Sailing Holidays, Sunsail, Neilson but nothing on these guys.

We used Activity Holidays just over 12 months ago and really appreciated that they were happy to let you sail later each day, conditions allowing, but we would prefer not to use them again. So are looking for another flotilla with a similar attitude.

Thanks
Ruth

Hi I have never used them ,but have meet up with the german guy that organises
the flotill .Very well run, however, most of the crews are either German or Dutch .and do not appear to have a large sense of humour.unless you get the Baverian crowd on ,then you want to stay a long way off as they usually have a um par band on board . cheers bobt

Not used em but seen em. Seem to be the quietest flotilla. Agree with earlier posts about having mainly dutch and german crews. Boats looked in good nick.

I remember one time in Monganissi, Paxos when a french guy was being guided in bows to with flotilla leader on radio at the quay. Boat nudged slowly towards the quay before being held in place by said flotilla leader. He then said "Jacques, that was perfect. But could you go out and do exactly the same thing again, this time dropping your kedge anchor on the way in"

Poor Jacques looked crestfallen.

Maybe they are not the flotilla for us - it's not the international nature that puts me off .... it's the quiet bit. If the last flot was anything to go by we seem to end up being nominated party boat and he HWMBO can't be quiet on holiday even if his life depended on it!
