Last night - A good night with good grub. Our table being quite a serious minded one listened with interest to Clive Folley of High Spirits II. He was firmly entrenched under the table giving us renditions of 'Popeye the sailorman" I tried to change the subject to a more boaty one but was drowned out by other tables shouting "POOP POOP" between verses. There were of course one or two tables who didn't approve sitting there with pursed lips and faces like scrotums but after a while even they relented and one or two were seen to smile albeit reluctantly.
