NW Wales boaters Calypso night

If that's Caernarfon Golf Club, I can recommend it very highly. I was at a function there over Easter (under £14/head for 3 courses & coffee). Superb food & reasonable booze (reasonable wine under £10/bottle) excellent service.

If not I'll go away again.

Robin....one on either side of a frozen snot boats should get them sorted. Actually we wont remind them of this and we will go without them.

Load with ball and grape and then boarders awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Arrrrrgh! :D

As to golf I'd rather watch mould grow! ;)

I used to carry the sticks for me Dad. He even sawed a set off for me (hickory shafts in those days). Unfortunately, it put me off the game for life. But I don't mind eating - I can do that anywhere; picnic & barbie on the 14th green anyone?

Cricket on a sandbank is a more traditional sport for boaters.

But surely Searush, with this bunch of card carrying Misanthropes a game of 'rounders' would be more appropriate :D
Or as our colonial cousins call it base ball, that way apart from the batsman, the 'pitcher' and 'catcher ' everyone plays everyone else;)

Ah! sandbanks.
Now yer talking (Just follow me)
But the best place for those beggars is Porthmadoc.

Rugger would be better
Not like them 'darn sarf' types wot play that cricket stuff on the sand.
Mind you
Could be a bit knackerin before the Annual Dinghy Race/Collection:)

Oh and as well as.
A small fleet is leaving later Today (from Dinorwic)to recce the venue I believe.

Looks nice down there this morning (Sat) - see pic attached below. I shall be keeping an eye on you.

If you'd done that a little later Searush, you have got us! Yes, it was lovely there all day Saturday, we arrived around half elevenish and stayed overnight, returning to PD this morning.
