Does anybody out there know of any UK based airlines (i.e cheap!) that operate out of Vigo, Corunna, Santiago and who service the south/southeast UK. Have checked websites of each airport and is not abundantly clear or is it case of always retracing your steps back to Bilboa/air, Santander/ferry?

I flew to Vigo a couple of years ago from Aberdeen. Route was Aberdeen - Heathrow - Madrid - Vigo. British Airways/Iberia, so not cheap, but I got there!

Flew recently from A Corunna to Bilbao, 64 euro for 2 people, one way, with the cheap arm of Iberia. Then EasyJet to Stansted 30 sterling for 2 people, one way. But plus taxes and things for EasyJet.

A Corunna was way cheaper than Vigo or Santago de Compostella.

There are NO cheap direct flights from Galicia to the UK.

Another option that's quite viable is to fly to Oporto direct from London and hire a car from someone flexible like Europcar, then drive up the autopista. Vigo is either a 100 miles or a 100 kilometres drive, (I forget which), from Oporto.

A lot of people take this option.
