Novice boating insurance

One day you are going to get fed up with being on a river and want to try going out to sea. The things that you will learn to take your Powerboat 2 and the experience of taking it, perhaps on a sea going boat will elavate your competence to realise that even if you stay on a river there are more hazards to be aware of than you realise at present.

Funny how no one has asked what boat the OP is buying and where he will be using it. Personally, i don't think there is a "one size fits all" training requirement/recommendation. Although, PB L2 is agreed a good start for most people.

Towergate Mardon will insure new boaters, as i believe will Craft Insure.
