Permanent

1. An eclectic collection of revised depths near the Varne (Eastern Channel), Sandiettie etc but none will trouble leisure craft.
2. A couple of revised depths at the Sunk Inner Precautionary area. Again sufficiently deep enough not to trouble leisure craft.
3. Removal of the prohibited works zone to the east of the Ostend entrance and a buoy move (slightly to the south) and name change at the entrance to the Oost-Dyck TSS.

Temporary

1. That marker buoy off Holliwell Point in the crouch mentioned by Jim in his earlier post. It's position is such that since it is unlit you might like to be aware of where it is situated. There is an image of its position on the web site.
2. Rock dumping at the Thanet Wind Farm. Should actually be over by now. No suggestion that they are creating a 'Berm', nor any info as to where the rock is being dumped. Presumably some reinforcement is being required!:encouragement:
3. Not sure if I have posted this before, so I have added it anyway: The London Array have put a North Cardinal Q the the north of the Rock Berm just to the south of the Princes Channel where their cables cross the BritNed power link. This Berm has 4 metres over it so we could all romp over it. Not to be confused with the Rock Berm south of the Kentish Flats Wind Farm which has only 0.9m over it and which has the protection of four marks.
4. And finally notice from the PLA of the Thames Barrier test closure programme from now until October.

C'est tout!

Regarding the rock dumping at Thanet wind farm. I had a diagram with the rather vague NtM, and there appear to be several areas involved. They have just been doing some (at least that's what the timetable said) within the farm, but the diagram appears to show locations on the export cable, mostly NE of the Goodwin Knoll buoy, where there's more to come. I presume they will issue further notices when these works are scheduled.

The NtM I had access to, - sorry The NtM to which I had access, had no diagram and the text on the CTTE web site is all of the 'useful' data on that particular notice. Thanet have not been too prompt on the publication of their notices!

Correction to my post below....the rock dumping was confined to one area on the boundary of the windfarm itself, apparently on a length of cable that had been repaired/replaced. The chartlet I had seen with the Notice was a general one that shows the whole layout with existing rocks already marked. Job is done.

Thanks for the heads up
The buoy is not at all obvious
Here's a photo - the buoy is the partially submerged yellow cross to the right of the frame

It also shows the unloading of the wind turbines from the 'shuttle barge'
