UKHO Permanent/Temporary/Preliminary Notices:
1. ENGLAND - East Coast - Buoy. -
The unnamed isolated danger light buoy in the Well in the Wash is off station at present. - see image for location.
2. BELGIUM - NM Block. Restricted areas. Buoyage. -
A restricted area to the north-west from Nieuwpoort harbour entrance has been moved slightly. The notice details new lat and long for the area and moves for the 4 cardinal buoys marking the ‘corners’ for two charts. However, note that the Notice includes a UKHO block for a third SNC and the block include interim cardinal buoys (6) along the perimeter. From which we can be sure that they really mean ‘restricted’ and that it is well marked. Worth noting if going along the Flemish coast. Both the usual image and the UKHO block can be seen/downloaded.

Many thanks. That restricted area off Nieuwpoort is a mussel farm with hundreds of floats strung together on long parallel lines. You certainly do not want to stray into that area. The locals protested to it's location but obviously got ignored Sailors protest against supermarket chain’s mussel farm plans . That webpage contains a good video showing the harbour entrance.
