One can assume that as the new Small Craft Charts are POD they will be updated at the same time and will be available. Imray POD.

3. Havengore - Havengore Bridge update (09.12.21) "Our contractor has been on site this week to repair a faulty internal safety barrier. Unfortunately, the repair was unsuccessful and the bridge remains closed to marine traffic. They will be returning to site next week when we hope to be able to issue a further update. Wonderful wonderful Havengore bridge..... I wonder if the Dutch would but up with it?

It works more often than haven bridge....
And now there's talk of breydon bridge being out of action for months.
I'm glad I have a low foldable boat being broads based.

I have come across Dutch bridges that are broken down, but they are usually repaired the next day.

They never break down in the open position do they...
That said haven did once so I'll shut up, they didn't take long to fix it that time though.

I think it's criminal that there is a barrier underneath to stop low air draft craft from passing. It's a right of way after all. I understand why it's there but the cynic in me also says it's about keeping the number of craft using the route low so they can eventually say not enough use and close it. Likewise the lack of priority in maintaining the structure, and yes I know it just had an upgrade......... at a small price to tick boxes to say yes we are keeping it open....... You just can't come through very often.....
