Nordship

Anyone any knowledge/experience of this marque. Particularly Nordship38. They are Danish built. Anyone ever read anything about them etc. They bear no resemblance to Trolls!

Hi John
Ive looked at the website and it only serves to make it look more interesting. Saw a 35 recently and I liked it. Pity there are no reviews in English (pity for me that is). What is the general opinion of Nordships? They seem cheaper than Rassys/Malos. Are they thought to be well made? How do they sail? Are there many second hand ones around in Scandinavia?

There is a 1987 35' on the market now for ca. GBP 75K Norwegian VAT paid, a new one will set you back ca. 100K + VAT with medium extras.
IMO they are of a similar quality to HR, Najad, Malos and are thought by the mags to be so also. They are more like the HR's of the 80's ie. Motorsailors with the balance more to sailing. In Norway there is only one used Nordship on the market at the moment, the people who own them seem to keep them so you can draw some sort of conclusion from that.
