Nordhavn 50 Offshore Training

nice if not long winded,

stabs don't seem to be enough at 18-19min, or the sea conditions were really V.BAD!
wonder who bothers to do such extensive e/r checks on the hour on a passage...

Shane, have you changed your mind from an Absolute Navetta to a Nordhavn?

Ive put all my plans on hold till next year.

I wont be buying a boat until the world gets back to some form of normality but it will be a boat with a modern contemporary design so a Navetta is still very much at the top of my list. Ive been waiting to see the new Navetta 64.

Im also thinking of just getting a smaller boat like a Nordhavn N41 or a Swift Trawler 41 and keep it in the USA for the ICW and waiting a year before buying bigger.

Im sure by next spring that will all be different

Chalk and cheese springs to mind.
In reverse order, needless to say!

Well there is a 6 months wait for the Nordhavn N41 but there are plenty of Swift Trawler 41 sat in marinas all over the USA.

The Swift Trawler 41 does seem more fun (y)

No prize for guessing why...

Well its just been released so there will be a waiting list but this is Nordhavn first mass produced boat so you'll be able to pick a stock boat up quite easily in a year or so

Its a shame it doesnt have a one piece windscreen and a flybridge.....and the swim platform could be bigger to hold a tender

The Swift Trawler 41 has a bit more going for it although i hate the wood options. They look cheap. I prefer a darker Walnut colour or Greys
