What's the best way to clean a large area of very grubby, moulded-in non-slip deck surface on a fibreglass deck?
Thanks for any advice you can give!

Plenty of people do use pressure washers on GRP decks, but plenty also overdo it and open up little voids in the gelcoat. By the very nature of the way they are made the GRP non-slip pattern, be it diamonds or wrinkles, is inevitably resin-rich, and can have minute air bubbles in, which a strong jet from a pressure washer can open up into little voids.Hi
We had the same problem with our decks and in addition to several years of grime and bid muck there was green algee and even traces of moss.
I sluced the deck with a 1 to 4 mix of Patio Magic, scrubbed it with a stiff brush, left it for a couple of hours and then went over the deck with a small pressure washer.
appart from a few spots where my scrubbing was iffy it brought both the glass fibre and the trackmark areas like nearly new.
Good luck
This stuff: http://www.piratescave.co.uk/nonski...&src=froogle&gclid=CO-c6PugmLoCFQVc2wodHGQAWQ is excellent. It comes in smaller bottles too. Apply to deck, spread about, leave for ten mins, wash off. Difference is astonishing. Worth the cash.
If you go down the pressure washer route, buy a gelcoat repair kit firstThanks to everyone for those answers - it gives me a good start!

Note that I said "used carefully"!
