I know I'm a sad git for posting this, but I'm now on my second bottle of wine and frankly I don't give a shit.
Having my own boat was a dream since I was a kid, but I wanted someone to share it with, now I wish I'd never bloody well done it because it's cost me the most precious thing in my life!

Some of you may have read me talking about this "great bloke" called Buffalo who we met this season, oh very friendly, helpful, good fun, bloody marvelous!! I thought. But no, he had a hidden agenda all the time, he wanted my girl, and now he's got her... she's left me for a man who lives in a caravan in a bloody field.

The valuers are coming tomorrow and our home will be sold along with everything else... whatever happened to values - YOU DON'T SHIT ON YOUR OWN DOORSTEP! FOR A START.

He came to our home, I cooked the lovely fresh bass we'd caught that day,and all the time he was saying how much he was enjoying our friendship - he was just taking the piss!!!

Fine, it happens, but can't you just have the decency to do it with some sort of integrity!!!!

Anyway, sod everything, I'm keeping the boat ( well he's got his own anyway) I just need a bit of confidence and encouragement to go out on my own.

We'll be going past you on sat some time. You can't miss us the kids are screaming "faster" while the wife is screaming "slower".

Things will generally work out for the best, might not seem like it now.

Praps the right time to think of upgrading the boat?

Why not chain and padlock the gate to their field? Might make you feel better /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

know the feeling, theres a lot of it about, as prevoius have said what goes around comes around, it will get better, she may even decide to want to come back(make her suffer) you have the boat go and get a dog there cheaper and a darn site more dedicated and loving, failing that try my site(www.mischiefuk.co.uk) we do blow up sheep, regards hope all ends well m8

I like the sound of that, and sometimes I wish i was the angry vindictive type, but as much as I want to go to the boat yard tonight and sink the bastards boat, it just isn't my nature. However, since in the last few minutes of my - spose I'll have to say "ex's" return from her "lovely date" with her new found arsehole - yes she is stilll living here because "apparently" his shitty caravan isn't fit for her, I'm beginning to change my mind. He's just taken away the last ten years of my life, which I guess I'll just have to learn to live with - but somehting in me wants to make him understand how much I hurt - regardless of my sexuality, love is love, and I have always loved her, and still do more than life it's self... god I feel so shit

Look on the bright side, Crumpet gets old and withered but a nice boat looks good forever and some get more beautiful with age. So! You got the best end of the deal.

I am so sorry Lynda, but I am sure things will get sorted. Was that the girl with you when I met you at the boatshow last Saturday? PM me if you want a chat.

Having read most of these posts I really do feel for you. I also hope your head aint as sore as you heart & soul this morning.

This sort of stuff gives us blokes a real bad name - and we aint all bad, honest!

Stick with us folks here, we'll help you through. Bread on the caravan roof at about 03:00 is still a good idea y'know!!
