Bored on usual S**t weather Sunday flicking through old mags MBY Sept 2002 issue (well no that old) , turn to page 121 Shop items, and see a radical problem to cure the great Analog or Digital display on a watch. A WATCH WITH BOTH.

Now I personally have numerous watches with either one or the other, but have never had a burning desire to have one with both, certainly not a £1,600 burning desire.

Cor its also comes with two cases, one with bezel for boating ?? (anyone ever found a bezel crucial to boating) and one quote " for looking smart in a restaurant" Having looked at this extremely lack lustre watch I can think of, and own, much more apt watches to pose with.

Its not as if the damn thing has a useful compass or GPS after all they are featuring it in a boating mag.

I mean whats is it coming to, who would pay £1,600 for such a thing, thats nearly 1200 galls of diesel for the tub, nearly enough for a season

There got it off me chest CGN

Whilst we have been waiting for a weather window the owner has sadly changed his mind. (obviously looked at the cost of the trip just to have a bow thruster fitted) Mind you apparantly hes been looking at taking it by road instead Ehh?

Me too John, I am ordering 4. I can then leave 2 on the boat and never bother about changing the Bezels and the same at home. Oh! What the hell, I had better order another one just in case I lose one.
Clive did say they were only £1.60p each didn't he?

Nice one Byron you get my point and illustrate such in your usual way.
Have you seen the article in question in the mag?

Well Clive.....youre obviously short of something to do to be posting summat thats nothing to do wiv the Broom!
I used to do quite a lot of work for a very prestigious watch manufacturer and couldnt believe how much peeps spend on a silly little wrist adornment that tells em the time. Ive always found asking someone a ver quicka nd easy way of clocking the time......especially as my arms arent long enough to get the watch far enough away from my eyes so's I can actually read the damn thing.........

Following on from this post on £1600 rip off watch I saw in MBY Nov 2002 page 115, a watch to tell the time which also features a walkie talkie capability so you can play star trek by talking into your wrist watch all for £34.50 each x 2 thats £75. Or less than 5% of the cost of that other thing and you have a walkie talkie
