I've got a brace of pheasant hanging in the store. I was going to gut and pluck them and cook in a nice red wine sauce. You think I shouldn't be doing this kind of stuff then? I do like the idea of huge cow pie. Would have to be one of those shaggy scottish ones to get the authentic horns on top.

I did spent quite a lot of time last weekend emptying and filling the dishwasher and cleaning the oven and grill

and I do have some nice new shirts for emergencies, still in wrappers.Bought them about 2 years ago. Always seems such a shame to open them when it only takes a few moments to heat up the iron.

Is there any sort of treatment available do you think?

Don't do anything 'better'
Don't ever mention that you are doing anything
Don't ask if she wants a cup of tea more than twice an hour (or less than once)
Don't get hooked on daytime TV - but you will get used to it eventually!
Consider a new take on something you can do together, at home, for a month - wine tasting a particular region?
