Better choice of 320s about, for one thing?
Bit more performance on the Finn, and a bit more quirky layout?
Have a think about the difference in galleys, if you intend to do alot of cruising, and roof overhang into the cockpit, if you hope to catch some sun.
Both fine boats, but rather different in style and duty, perhaps? Bit surprised you end up with these two, as I'd have thought a bit chalk and cheese.
We have a copy of the write up that was featured a couple of months ago, it covers the Aquador 32C and compares it to similar craft. If you would like the digest I would be only to happy.
Similar size shape acomodation and specs with aquador a bit more sporty with bigger engine and more pricey to run. where else do they differ apart from more shiny wood in Aq??
hey, its you who are considering them! I wouldnt have put them together other than being 32 ish feet long. Mind you, elsewhere someone is looking at a corvette and a Windy 37; I wouldnt have put those two together either, so maybe I m the one at odds /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
We have looked at both of these boats in the past, and came to the conclusion that if only we could have the build quality of the Nimbus with the looks of the Aquador. Its all down to personal preference, but I feel that the Nimbus would cope better if things got a bit rough, its just a little old fashioned.
We were looking at a new Aquador 32C last year at the LIBS. Prices then were around £165k with the options added. This year the boat on display (similarly specified) was a staggering £246k. I think that is a very big jump in price and that they will struggle to sell any. If Sea Ventures didn't sell enough last year at the lower price to stay in business then I can't see the new dealer doing very well. Nice boat but far too expensive.
