Its good to know about the swell and the power problems in Pavoa, thanks. We wouldnt be living aboard but security,DIY on the hard and airport access are important issues to us.
Re Gelves, I have measured my airdraft , with the mast off ect. the figure is in my log book, but 16m come so mind.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Im going to keep a layoverin French South Biscay in mind as well. The distance we cover in a summer depends upon enjoying ourselves. We stop longer in harbours ect which we like. We can be both the hare and the tortiose. Summer weather is a very important issue in distance covered.
