Newfoundland

I am trying to obtain information on sailing around Newfoundland / Nova Scotia, also the possibility of yacht charter in these areas. I would welcome any contacts that can be passed on, or contact with anyone who has experience of these waters.

Well my other halfs a Newf an' her old man has a 40ft yot so I guess there is some good sailing to be had there! Actually I missed the opportunity to do some this summer but have seen pics and it looks superb. Off there for Xmas in 3 weeks or so and whilst it might be a bit cold for sailing could certainly make some enquiries re. Yot charter if you'd like? I am told that Newfoundland is Canada's best kept secret and only 4 1/2 hr flight from UK.

Many thanks for your offer. Basically I would be looking for something in the 45 - 55 ft range bareboat for use in July 2004. Any contact names and details that you can obtain would be most helpful.
