Only looked at the box twice last evening for a few minutes each time, and New Zealand featured on both.
The first was just in time to see Nasser Hussein hit consecutive fours - one for his century, and another to win the match. That doesn't happen too often.
The second time was on one of the Travel channels - a documentary called New Zealand's Hidden Secrets. Spectacular scenery, etc.
Cor Blimey - that Cook Straight is not the place to be when it gets rough. No wonder MainlySteam gives it so much respect. Serious waves - even wiped out one of its own ferries (Wahine in 1968). Saddest part was that most of the 51 souls were lost when they were washed up on the jagged rocks, not when the vessel actually capsized.
Another thing - when you die, the Mouri's cut off your head and put it in a museum (having taken the brain out first). Come to think of it - haven't heard from MainlySteam recently.......?
