Without thread drifting too much. I was paying for a pontoon berth not much over 350 per month 2 years ago and I got a winter shore discount that brought the average monthly amount to 300. Two years later fixed monthly at 500 and 650 per month at deacons on a 12 month contract.

I’ll not be rushing back for a pontoon berth.

Thanks Steve, Gosport have spaces for winter, 2600 for oct to mar, power on pontoons etc, may take that for short term and see what comes up.

Had a swing mooring on lochs in Scotland, loved that, but that was 23ft power boat, not sure on 41ft yacht single handing.

I was surprised at the availability of very decent berths back in May. Next years fees will be interesting. Tricky balance between inflation and filling spaces for the marina bosses.

Wicor is always a good option with river and now walk ashore moorings. I was there for over 10 years.
Hardway and Porschester both have a good club
The advantage of Wicor is that it’s a short drive from the M27 and the time you would spend driving down to Gosport can be spent sailing down the Harbour. The downside is that it has a great cafe that can delay departure if my usual crew comes along.
