New to me ....

Helford Cutter ... Paul Gartside design, built 1983 Gweek Boat Yard, 32 x 9'8" x 5'8", iroko on oak ... built like a church ... she came up for sale a few years ago just after I'd bought something else! Didn't want to chance it this time so bought her anyway ... all I've got to do now is flog the other one ... only got space for one on the pontoon so if anyone wants a nice Peter Duck .... ?
So pretty I couldn't resist it ... always was a sucker for a pretty sheerline!

Very nice and well aquired. Quite a different beast from the Peter Duck!

Berthed next to you

Glad its gone to someone with some time . We have sat and watched it just sit there all year . No one seems to have been near it . Needs a bit of TLC . We are in the berth next to you .. Hope you enjoy it . Looks as though it will keep you out of mischief for a bit . The hull was varnished up until the other year according to the yard but it was to much upkeep ..

Yes she was varnished originally but hull painted for some years now and the coach roof I think about 2005 ... an old guy lived on her for a year which must have been a challenge! ... she was in Shoreham/Brighton before moving to the East Coast ... TLC only involves superficial stuff really ... toerails and handrails etc and a couple of stuck seacocks + a bit of scraping and painting under the toerail on the sunny side! ... she's lovely down below. Had the engine serviced last week and plan to do a couple of days after Christmas then get her down to Port Solent early January ... can't wait to get her home, out, painted and back in again! If you're around Boxing Day or the day after come and say hello!
