Well done EugeneR,stay sensible. Sounds to me that at the moment all the parties concerned are being very reasonable and suspect a satisfactory outcome can be reached in short order ,provided nobody listens to the forum cavalry and starts leaping on high horses,which then leads to lawyers et al,your boat being out of commission while everything is being fought over line by line and bad feeling all round.
Two ways of doing stuff IMHO,if you ring me and say "Look I have a problem can you help,heres the problem" am far more likely to go the extra mile than if your first words are " "I know my rights......"
Most companies will bend over backwards to amically sort a problem even if they actually suspect its not actually entirely their fault. .
