May be nothing in it but have just been advised that vessels visiting Spain will be charged a new tax at their point of entry (irrespective of their length of stay)?

I heard that all yachts visiting Spain (irrespective of their length of stay) will be issued with a free Flamenco dancer.

This has been happening for a while now, we were issued with flamenco dancers at every harbour last year; they quickly filled the forepeak and we were compelled to lash them to the rails. Their length of stay was curtailed when we reached Gibraltar and exchanged them for Earl Grey tea in Morrissons. How are things in Moana J&A?

Crazy, have they no sense, everyone knows a Flamenco dancer is no good whatsoever for anchoring, what you really need is a Paso doble dancer

So far, this year, I have visited (some multiple times) Alcaidesa La Linea, Ceuta, Sotogrande, La Duqesa, Estepona and La Bajadilla.

All charges normal off season except for the big price rise at La B. Nothing about any tax even entering from outside Schengen (Gib) to Spain.

Happy cruising!!
