Re: Re radar reflectors and the flat earth society

Does not the water get hot because the microwaves vibrate the molicules, causing friction and heat. So if we have a big radar, it would vibrate the molicules in fog, raising the due point causing the fog to disapear, and your visable, bingo.

Has steath technology to do with not feeding radar operaters carrots ???

Love the flat earth

Re: Re radar reflectors and the flat earth society

What is significant is the proportion of the radar signal that is reflected directly back to the antenna. Now with a sphere (in theory) there is only a single point that will reflect the radar signal back to the antenna.

However two reflecting surfaces set at right-angles will reflect the signal directly back to the antenna. That is the basis of all radar reflectors although they use different geometries. So a small radar reflector can produce a big image at many angles.

Re: Re radar reflectors and the flat earth society

Is it similar to how the reflector works on a car? These turn light wave 180 degress and send them back the way they came. The US put something similar on the moon to enable them to measure distance from the earth accurately.
