Are you perchance a stereotypical Brit? I knew an American young lady who did a great line in whispered sweet nothings. No use now of course, I need to keep a notepad by the bedside for that kind of thing these days.

When I lived in central London I too thought Americans were loud. Or at least the ones wearing cheque (Bill?) pants...

Welcome aboard as they say the madhouse. South/North Carolina, Spent some time over there a long time ago. Shrimp boat fishing was my only link to boats. anyway.
