New Garmin In Reach - good for weather maps?

Garmin have a new version of their In Reach communicator which can receive photos. I am thinking what a great way to receive weather maps and ice charts without the cost of a full satellite communication system. Though each photo is an additional £1. Sorry I'm in a bit of a hurry right now, but I can't see any indication of file size?

Will probably be fine, as you say, for synoptic charts as I can't imagine those are more than 200kb - 300kb.

What is the maximum size for the pictures?
Can pictures/photos be retrieved from an internet URL address or do they need to be sent by someone else?

Sorry for the questions, as it is often the case the original web site does not provide all the information, apart from (1) (2) (3) small prints

From the screenshots on Garmin's sites they're sent via a messenger app, embedded in the chat like they are on WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.
