New formàt

I must say the new format forum is much better than the old. For a start it allows me to edit posts using my phone. Also I like the bell button to go to recent subscribed posts. I'm not sure about the caution notice (don't take the advice without checking) I think that's a bit unnecessary.

Strangely, while I can post from my phone, I can't see any obvious "edit" facility.

I find it works better than the old one. I haven't tried the search feature yet though.

It disappears after about 24 hours, I think, so if it's not there in your post #8, I suggest you ask a moderator.

Yes, you are allowed 24 hours to edit your post.

Personally, I think it would be much more entertaining if, in the Lounge and its offshoots, people were not allowed to edit their posts at all after clicking the Post Reply button.
