Just a heads-up with all the boats coming ashore now: there are some new kids on the block regarding engineering and fabrication.
Qualityworks Engineering have set up on my doorstep here at Mylor, Falmouth but they can send stuff anywhere. They are in their mid-twenties, highly motivated and highly skilled and very personable. I have had a couple of jobs done for me. A big plus is that in addition to the usual fabricating the can do machining - milling, turning, etc..

I forgot to say that they did their engineering apprenticeships at Pendennis Shipyard - the superyacht builder and refit yard.

Good luck to them however their website is trying too hard with marketing spin. Keep it simple and practical - you don't need phrases like "Let's build the future together".

Sharing good experience from service providers isn’t quite the same as advertising to my mind (Edit: assuming that is what it is of course).
