If the water injection point into the exhaust is less than 30cm above the water line an antisyphon loop and valve is needed.

As said above see the installation manual. page 23 et seq.

If you need a hi rise, then almost certainly in 99% of cases an anti syphon valve is also required.

What are you doing for water trap? Doesn't look like you have copious amounts of room.

Its not very clear on the manual if anti siphon is required as well as high rise exhaust
I can't select the text and paste it, but the 30cm measurement is for either exhaust system. If you have a high rise then the injection is higher so there is less chance it is needed, but it still depends on your set-up. See top of page 25.

Its a Vetus trap, its going to the bottom left of the photo - not a very clear photo but the exhaust is offset to suit

This looks very familiar! Mine will be installed this week and we have exactly the same question - will it comply with the diagram in post#10? our current calculations suggests that it will but once it is installed we will double check and any doubts will install a valve.

I also have a high rise exhaust on my Beta 25 and an anti-syphon loop. It was difficult to determine whether it was needed so I played safe and fitted it.

I have checked the boat today and think I am border line so will fit the anti siphon

I am finding the Beta installation manual to be pretty basic with not much info - eg nothing at all re connecting/adjusting gear and throttle cables although I have now worked out the connections and found out that throttle idle is factory set
