New edition of Eastcoastsailing is out

Really interesting, a good read. Nice to see it on the iPad as well. Are you still looking for a vessel for the 9th of April?

No, thanks. We have a very kind offer from a local fisherman/waterman who has excellent knowledge of the sands. So we are now just hoping for some kind weather over Easter. Probably we will be there on Easter Monday which is one day short of 68 years since the crew were last seen heading over the Knock John towards the Buxey and Bradwell.

On behalf of the team and especially Colin (the Lurker) who drives it, thanks all for your kind comments. Feedback is always helpful.

Down load the PDF version and open in Ibooks, works for me.
Done some experimenting with this today.
If you use the (free) Kindle iPad app instead of iBooks, it's a doddle to download each (or every) ECS PDF-format mag and store them in the Kindle library on your iPad (they will be put under 'Docs') to be read at leisure.
Do this for each one by opening the PDF using Safari as usual, then touch the screen once and a menu appears top right with 'Open in iBooks' and 'Open in...' (which opens a menu for Kindle and any other ereader you have installed).
Open in Kindle and you'll find it will store it too.
Note that if you tried the Kindle app in the past (more than a couple of weeks ago) and gave up in disgust, it's now been updated and seems to work as you'd expect it to, very well in fact.
