New Deck Brush

Want one, but not at chandlery prices, hardware stores have the heads, but the bristles are too soft...

Any ideas ?

How about an old fashioned scrubbing brush ? all you need to do then is get the type of handle that can be screwed to the head.

I had the same problem. I eventually found just the thing at my local farmers' cooperative! It was even labelled 'deck scrubber'.

Exactly what I've got! Mine is "hedgehog" shaped, with a sturdy alloy handle.
I've got several different brushes on board for various jobs. All from agricultural suppliers. Good, cheap and hard wearing.

Farnborough Hardware even cheaper, if you happen to be in the area (Farnborough in Hampshire that is).

Visit your nearest caravan/mobile home store if it has accessory dept. Good telescopic brushes with hose attachment for £20 - £25 and cheaper stuff too. Great place for canopy snap poppers too. £1.65 a packet of 10 as opposed to £5 - £10 from some marine stores.
